If I were you, I would have these convictions for the New Year.

• I am created to be in a relationship with my Creator. This is the starting point for my life. If I don't acknowledge this basic truth, then I am a fool. Jesus made a way for me to be in right relationship with God. He is not "a" way or "one" of the ways to God. He was God in the flesh, and He Himself paid for the debt of sin that stood between God and Me . The answer? -- John 3:16 & John 1:12  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. ...  As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.   Click on the above button on this page called  For You .

• Not reading is the same as not being able to read. Books are a mans best friend.


• I should develop my creative side. I don't want to be an old fart.


• I will not neglect or fail to appreciate my friends and loved ones.

I realize that I am not a great blogger or gifted writer. Sometimes I ask myself why am I writing these posts. Originally , I wanted a place to document some of the truths that have helped me in life and share them with my kids. But I also want any other readers to benefit from this blog. I believe that the Truths from Gods Word can absolutely help you succeed. But remember, that the only knowledge that benefits you is the knowledge that you act upon. So for 2013,  lets be Doers of God's Word !  James  tells us in the Bible :

¹⁹ My dear brothers and sisters, always be more willing to listen than to speak. Keep control of your anger. ²⁰ Anger does not help you live the way God wants. ²¹ So get rid of everything evil in your lives—every kind of wrong you do. Be humble and accept God’s teaching that is planted in your hearts. This teaching can save you.

²² Do what God’s teaching says; don’t just listen and do nothing. When you only sit and listen, you are fooling yourselves. ²³ Hearing God’s teaching and doing nothing is like looking at your face in the mirror ²⁴ and doing nothing about what you saw. You go away and immediately forget how bad you looked. ²⁵ But when you look into God’s perfect law that sets people free, pay attention to it. If you do what it says, you will have God’s blessing. Never just listen to his teaching and forget what you heard.

²⁶ You might think you are a very religious person. But if your tongue is out of control, you are fooling yourself. Your careless talk makes your offerings to God worthless. ²⁷ The worship that God wants is this: caring for orphans or widows who need help and keeping yourself free from the world’s evil influence. This is the kind of worship that God accepts as pure and good.

Now what do you say?

John 8:5
"In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?” The Religious leaders asked Jesus this question when a woman was caught in adultery. This Law, (thou shall not commit adultery) which is perfect and unforgiving, required payment. We know that Jesus offered forgiveness, because He was going to pay the price of her sin and law-breaking. This is the Good News for all. Jesus paid our Debt before the Supreme Court of Heaven. Jesus had an answer for them and Jesus has an answer for us. " Now what do you say?"

Now Jesus, What do you say?

• What do you say about my mess ups?


• What do you say about my future?


• What do you say about my children?


• What do you say about my money ?


• What do you say about the future of the human race?


• What do you say about your Return ?

The answer for these questions are found in The Bible, and they are easy to find out. Don't wait until a storm comes to build your house on the Rock ! Ask the questions and get the answers!

Great Life Lesson from Dr. Fred Price

"Having lived for 80 years has given me a great deal of experiences and insight. There have been a number of lessons learned. Chief among them is the fact that I realized that when I was pastor of large and thriving ministry that I could not do it all. I have my place, my call, and my anointing, but I let the greater One do the work. I am always at rest. I could be stressed out right now because of all the things I have to do and all that I am responsible for. I decided early on that I refuse to be stressed out. I have delegated authority to others, and they do the work that they are assigned to do.I have things that need to be done within a certain time period. But the worst-case scenario is that if it does not get done, it does not get done. I don’t let it burden me. When the time comes for me to go home, I leave that work there. When I go home, I am off, and that means I am not going to do any more work. My philosophy is this: If I were dead and gone, what would happen to all the work? Somebody else will come and do it.  God gave me a brain so that I could use wisdom; if I don’t preserve me, I’m dead. I am not going to die from stress and overwork. I am going to rest. Take it from me, learning how to NOT do it all is one of life’s greatest lesson."

I believe in hard work. I believe and setting and writing down your Goals.  I think you cannot be successful just working 40 hours a week.

But I also know that Rest is an accomplishment.  Stress can hurt you. Stress can lead to bad health. There will always be work to do. Take Pastor Fred's advice from this article.

1. I would believe that God is on my side. (Psalm 118:6)

4. I would believe that it is Very Important to quickly forgive anyone for any perceived wrongs towards me.

The California State University system’s newest campus is located in the Palm Springs area. What is unusual is that this university campus opened without the state putting up any money.

For years, officials in the Palm Springs area tried to get the university system to open a campus in their area. Repeatedly, they were told… “If the state has to pay for it, it will take decades. In fact, it might never happen.”

However, two individuals would not accept that as a final answer. They invited the California State University Chancellor to come to town for a luncheon attended by dignitaries. During their time together they asked him, “What if we donated a campus to you? Would you then build it and furnish a staff?” He answered, “Yes.”

The city of Palm Desert agreed to donate the land for a 200-acre campus site. Then by piling municipal money on top of private donations, in 90 days the two raised $9 million and then $10 million more. Now the thriving campus is training thousands of students, plus the campus is surrounded by retail stores and motels which provide a continuous revenue flow for the city.

This story is a great example of “The Formula Of Champions” taught by Klemmer & Associates – which is as follows: Intention + Mechanism = Results. Brian Klemmer maintained that the key to making things happen, and getting fresh ideas and strategies, is not to focus solely on the mechanism (on the How Tos). One must also increase the intensity (hunger/desire) of the intention (the dream or desired outcome). When the intention is strong enough, the mechanisms (How Tos) will begin to appear. Brian taught that one of the ways of raising the intensity of one’s intentions is through visualization. He states…

While needing to raise funds for a building project I was involved in, every week I used to walk the land that I wanted to put the building upon. That caused my subconscious to work on creating mechanisms to raise money. Drawings of the project were made before any money was raised, and I constantly looked at them. That also raised my intention. I actually would take time to mentally picture the grand opening of the building and see people using it. Remember…

…your subconscious is already seeing a picture of what it believes is the current reality.

Therefore, to achieve your goals you must control those images. Surround yourself with pictures of the desired finished state. Go and see and/or touch something that represents your dream or desired outcome. Also create a psychological trigger device: anything that reminds you of that picture of your achieved goal.

By using the above techniques, you can help unlock the powerful potential of your subconscious and accomplish what may seem to be impossible or insurmountable.

In times of negativity and/or economic uncertainty, do not get so busy and/or consumed with problem solving that you neglect to invest time and money into those activities that will enable you to “break out” of the normal and experience exciting unexpected increase.

I am convinced that people from all walks of life need Mentorship. Someone knows something that you don't. A mentor is a more than a teacher. A mentor is a trusted advisor. Teachers share information, a mentor shares his life and wisdom. You must seek out a mentor, for most people have to be pursued before they show you what they know. I have been helped greatly in business because I sought mentors. Some have costed thousands of dollars, but have been worth the investment. Some were free, because they saw a hunger in me to learn. I will never forget their investment in me. Seek out a mentor in the areas that you need improvement. You will be glad you did.

What Your Beliefs Do To You

We are controlled by our Beliefs 90% of the time. Are "we" in control? Work hard to see what beliefs you have. Look at the results you are getting in your life, and you can see your true intentions. Check the results you are getting. RESULTS - sometimes harsh, always fair.

Today is Yesterday's Tomorrow

While I was watching a live streaming event on the internet, I heard a well respected minister say "I would not worry about anything BUT today. Why? Today is the only effect I have on my future". This stuck a chord within me. How much of the time I find my mind moving to the future -entertaining fears and concerns about tomorrow. When this happens, it robs me of the NOW factor. It can immobilize you.

Matt. 6 : 25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Today is the only control you have over tomorrow ! Such a great concept. We can reap a harvest of our own planting. Lets get busy planting Good Things.

ACTION

I know a special truth. I have proved it for myself. I act on this principle and have had great results in life and business. When I am down and out, I can take this "way of escape" and leave that state.
The principle I speak of is Action.


The Bible shares this wisdom when it says;
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves..... But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. (James Chapter One)

Act ! Be a doer! Do something that you have been putting off ! Write that letter. Pick up that phone and make that call. (Remember that the phone does not weigh 100 lbs.) Forgive that person. Give that donation. Just do it !
Any movement towards order creates pleasure. Action will always overcome feelings.

Mind Mangement

A very important principle in life is this : "You become what you think about most of the time". This is a distillation of the best in Success Philosophy. This truth is always at work. You can learn a lot of information, or get multiple degrees,but you will be ruled by your dominant thoughts. This is borne out in the Bible too. Jesus taught the power of words and thoughts. The Apostle Paul wrote about thinking on good things and casting down wrong thoughts. Lets keep our mind on things above !

2. Readers Are Leaders.
3. Books are a mans best friend.
4. I can learn in 45 minutes what it took a person 45 years to learn.
5. Mentorship is Wisdom and Learning without the Pain.
6. God sent His Son but left His Book.
7. Proverbs 2:6 " For the LORD gives wisdom;
From His mouth come knowledge and understanding." The Bible is a collection of 66 Books .
8. Proverbs 4:20 " My son, give attention to my words;
Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes;
Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them,
And health to all their flesh. "
Gods Word is Powerful when we Believe it And receive it in our Hearts.
9. When an enemy wants to destroy a Nation, They destroy the Libraries, burn books and propagate lies.
10. Those who can't read and those who don't read are the same.

These are some thoughts that shaped my thinking. I may have read them sometime.....

Just Imagine

Imagine that you had won the following prize in a contest:
Each morning your bank would deposit $86,400.00 in
your private account for your use.

However, this prize has rules, just as any game has certain rules.

The first set of rules would be:
Everything that you didn't spend during each day
would be taken away from you.

You may not simply transfer money into some other account.
You may only spend it.

Each morning upon awakening, the bank opens your account with another $86,400.00 for that day.

The second set of rules:
The bank can end the game without warning; at any
time it can say, Its over, the game is over!

It can close the account and you will not receive a new one.

What would you personally do?
You would buy anything and everything you wanted, right?
Not only for yourself, but for all people you love, right?

Even for people you don't know, because you couldn't possibly spend it all on yourself, right?
You would try to spend every cent, and use it all, right?

ACTUALLY, this GAME is REALITY!

Each of us is in possession of such a magical bank. We just
can't seem to see it.

The MAGICAL BANK is TIME!


Each morning we awaken to receive 86,400 seconds as a gift
of life, and when we go to sleep at night, any remaining time
is NOT credited to us.

What we haven't lived up that day is forever lost.

Yesterday is forever gone.

Each morning the account is refilled, but the bank can
dissolve your account at any time....WITHOUT WARNING.

SO, what will YOU do with your 86,400 seconds?

Aren't they worth so much more than the same amount
in dollars?

Think about that, and always think of this:
Enjoy every second of your life, because time races by
so much quicker than you think.

So take care of yourself, be Happy, Love Deeply and enjoy life!

How Can I Get Moving?

In Ecclesiastes 11: verse 4 Solomon writes
"If you worry about the weather and don't plant seeds, you won't harvest a crop." There is wise advice here on how to get motivated. Usually fear and worry stop us in our lives. But Good Action can cure us.We must act in the face of bad weather. We must do whats right, because its right, and Do IT Right. That is Excellence. Remember the principle "Decision creates energy". I have used these ideas consistently in my life to accomplish the goals and dreams that I have had. And when I am worrying about the weather, looking at the clouds,mesmerized by the problem, I ended up UN motivated -kinda BLAH. But when I ACTED in the face of bad weather, and sowed my seeds, I reaped in due time - a harvest of desired harvests. "You will reap what you sow". Knowledge acted upon is POWER. Get Moving !
